Lighting solutions giant Signify India, in partnership with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, has launched a CSR-backed initiative to illuminate 61 villages across the state.
The project, titled “Har Gaon Roshan”, will focus on tribal and tourism-centric villages near reserves like Kanha, Bandhavgarh, and Satpura, improving night safety and tourism infrastructure.
Implemented with NGO Haritika, the initiative will provide solar-powered outdoor lighting, reducing energy use and enhancing rural mobility.
🔦 Will this spark a wider wave of CSR-led rural electrification or remain a one-state showcase?
